Geraldine Delaney has significant expertise in bookselling, publishing, library development and collection management. She worked for several years as a senior buyer for an independent bookshop and has considerable experience working in academic, school and public libraries. She graduated from Ulster University in 2015 with an MSc in Library and Information Management and is currently an assistant librarian at Ulster University, based at Magee. She has accredited qualifications in rare books librarianship, is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, an academic author and reviewer. At University in Scotland, Geraldine was involved in a student-led initiative to re-build Romanian libraries devastated by the 1989 Revolution. Her love of books and appreciation of literary heritage was stimulated, and the project ultimately provided Geraldine with a course for her professional trajectory.
