Jayne Dunlop has spent her working life in the information sector. A graduate of University College Wales, Aberystwyth she worked in special libraries in London and Belfast then joined the Ulster University Careers Service as an information officer before becoming a subject assistant librarian. Her ‘happy place’ in libraries has always been working with special collections particularly as Librarian in the Royal Geographical Society and more recently in the Library on the Coleraine campus of Ulster University. She recently updated her rare books qualifications, has a masters degree in library management and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Over two decades Jayne was active in North Antrim politics and served on her local council for eight years. During lockdown she became involved in radio broadcasting, and wrote a book on her personal health journey.
