Louisa Costelloe Chair

Louisa Costelloe has been on the NIPR Board since 2018 and was previously on the NIPR Advisory Panel. She graduated with an MSc in Information and Library Studies from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen in 2008 and chartered in 2013.

She graduated with an MSc in Information and Library Studies from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen in 2008 and chartered in 2013.

Louisa began working in libraries in Aberdeen City Council, first as a Library Assistant and then as a Local Studies Librarian for 4 years. In 2013 she took up the role of Development Officer for CILIP Ireland. In 2015 she moved to the position of Assistant Librarian, Special Collections in Queen’s University Belfast. In her current role her priorities are the care, management and development of rare book and manuscript collections in Special Collections, with a particular focus on the management and creation of online content and digital assets. Louisa also organises social media and outreach within the department.
