Robin Adams, formerly the Librarian and College Archivist at Trinity College Dublin, has been a member of the NIPR Board for over 10 years and its Chair since 2013.
Robin Adams began his career in librarianship in the Medical Library at Queens University Belfast, followed by posts in Cambridge University and at Glasgow University Library. His early specialism was in electronic information retrieval and reference services. He then moved to become Deputy Librarian at Trinity College Dublin and was appointed Librarian and College Archivist in 2002, retiring in 2012. He was a member of An Chomhairle Leabharlanna, the Legal Deposit Advisory Panel, a Trustee of the Worth Library and a Director of Research Libraries UK and is currently a member of the British Library Advisory Committee.
